3 week safari from Zambia to Malawi
The African continent has got so many places to see and such a rich wildlife that is no surprise that some safari tours last some few weeks, so that we are able to visit a lot of spots and get to know the game from close. We are going to describe the itinerary of a safari that takes place in 3 weeks, visiting many places in Zambia, which assures us to see some of the most beautiful places in this continent.
Day 1: Lusaka
We move in a transfer from the airport to the city.
Day 2: Kasanka National Park
Starting from Kasanka National Park, well known for the Mululu tree, that grows 20 m tall, as well as the antelope Sitatunga.
Days 3 and 4: Bangweulu Swamps
The Bangwelu Swamps have got a unique biodiversity, this is the place where the Shoebilled stork lives. Depending on the terrain conditions we can go on a safari by car or by feet.
Day 5: Kapisha Hot Springs
In Mpika town we can visit a traditional market that is set occasionally and the hot springs in Kapishya.
Days 6 and 7: North Luangwa National Park
North Luangwa National Park has been closed to public for decades; it is a highly restricted conservation area. From Delia Camp we will visit the reserve and see the groups of lions and buffaloes in this zone.
Day 8: Luambe National Park
Crossing the Luangwa river we move to the south and arrive to Luambe National Park and we will see many hippos and the hard-to-see Serval during the night.
Day 9: South Luangwa National Park
Moving along the river we get to South Luangwa National Park.
Days 10 and 11: South Luangwa National Park
We go on safari tours to see the game and the landscape.
Day 12: Senga Bay
From Chipata we travel to Malawi, in Lilongwe, and then to Senga Bay next to Malawi Lake.
Days 13 and 14: Monkey Bay
Near Malawi Lake we find this bay. This is one of the most beautiful places in the country.
Day 15: Chipata
We go to Chipata by Lilongwe to camp and pass the day.
Day 16: Luangwa Tal, Bridge Camp
The Great East Road will take us to many places, one of the is Bridge Camp, is by the Luangwa river.
Days 17, 18 and 19: Lower Zambezi National Park
We travel to Lower Zambezi National Park, close to Zambeze River, where we can set off in a cruise and see a lot of the local game.
Day 20: Lusaka
We go back to Lusaka by car.
Day 21: Back home
During the morning we move to Lusaka international airport.

My wife and I went on a twin centre luxury holiday to Tanzania and Zanzinbar as part of a safari beach holiday, we had such an amazing time.
